sooo i'm sure this has probably been asked before.
i'm newish so in the great spirit of getting to know you (sing with me) getting to know all about you......what do you do for a living and do you enjoy it and if you could would you do something different?
i'm in advertising & marketing for a group of magazines.
Well u know me Lou, being your mother and everything. But for eveybody else. I am also in the media, selling advertising, HECTIC but I love it (sometimes) when my deadlines slow down.
And me, I would rather be travelling all around throwing apostate parties and meeting everyone.

i can't understand why they have put this ad up on this site, as it is only people who are not jw who look at this site (and others) so why advertise "meet single jw just like you on this site".
i thought maybe it was for single ex jw, so went into that site, and low and behold it was for jw only.
they were saying something like this "... we would like to say thank you so much brothers for this site as i have meet my wife/husband etc ....and thank you so much jehovah..".

Surley google should advertise on this site for single ex jw, that would make sense to me. Not that i am looking at the moment, but for futher it would be great, then I could meet ex jw who think like me.

i having been "lurking" around here for about a month--right when i was disfellowshipped actually.
in a year long relationship--broke up-five months later had a bout of conscience and told on myself.
myself and my ex are disfellowshipped and now most of my former group of "friends" are getting in trouble.
Just being told myself that "I am no longer a JW' and that's fine with me, but with you it looks like it could be quite hectic. My mom and big sister do not talk to me as well as my nephews and nieces which I LOVE SO MUCH IT HURTS, BUT one gets thru it. Just read Crisis of Conscience and that will MAKE you sit up and and realise that the org. is NOTHING.

now that i'm a non jw i'm expected to celebrate holidays by my gf, family etc.
there's way too many and it gets to be a pain.
valentines,easter,memorial day mothers day,fathers day, 4th of july, thanksgiving, halloween, christmas(bleh!
We in South Africa dont do the trick or treating thing, but this year I AM GOING FULL OUT WITH CHRISTMAS, lights, tree, presents the WHOLE WORKS. Wish i had a house i would put all the lights outside.
Birthdays are soooooo exciting as well. Wow all the presents, fantastic, great, and i really dont mind buying presents and all that.
on friday i let you guys know that my final jc was happening on sunday.

loubelle my daughter, I know you can be sooooo passionate at times so I just dont know how you will react to whatever lies they have to say. Also very sad that your aunt (my sister and b/inlaw will act as their witness) But as I say "Let the Spirit do the talking" and not your boots. Love you very much and I thank God that we are both "out" together.

My feelings is also take care, my heart is crying out, i just cannot tell you, even from this side of the world I have feelings of great love and concern for you. My spirit in me is sad and I hope that you one day, just ask one question about the SPIRIT IN a person (jw do no know) as they do not have the spirit in them. NB I feel because you are new to these thoughts and ideas of the JW (or not) the spirit can talk to you, deep down. The deep will call to the deep.
